OUR MISSION

At First Baptist Covington, our mission is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ.

As we carry out this mission, we seek to be a church that is rooted, reaching, and replicating.

First Baptist has always existed to “glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ.” In recent years, God has knit our hearts together with the vibrant agrarian imagery of Scripture: the land, the soil, the vine & branches, and the tree. Alongside this imagery, we’ve developed a vision of being a church that is Rooted, Reaching, and Replicating:

Rooted

Rooted in the Scripture, prayer, worship, and the church.

Reaching

Reaching through personal evangelism, biblical hospitality, community engagement, and church planting and global missions.

Replicating

Replicating through family and personal discipleship, small groups, and leadership development.
